Portable DC High Voltage Test Set is used for testing underground cable, generators, switchgear etc. for understanding the condition of current leakage / insulation condition at any given point. These are extremely light weight units designed for field operation (Substation, Power Projects, Remote sites etc.). The units are delivered in custom made carry boxes to endure rough and rugged transportation.

||Type 1- The unit can be manual control for voltage variation and push button controlled for HT actuation.
Type 2- The unit can be complete with on board digitized panel with or without computer connectivity.
Type 3- The unit can be PLC based complete with computer, HMI memory, printer etc. for operation.
||The equipment is supplied with copper braided HT cable with HT plug and socket. The braiding remains on earth potential
||For input supply 5meter long 3 core cable is provided
||Zero start interlocking
||This is to ensure that HT shall not actuate if the voltage control knob is at zero position
||If proper earth is not connected the HT will not actuate
||Auto Discharge Arrangement
||The equiment consist of automatic cable dischrging arrangement
||HT plug and socket has beed especially developed by RE with automatic earthing arrangement
||mA meter and voltmeter are provided on HT side. The meters are fully protected against surges and spikes.
